SUMMARY

My research mainly focuses on numerically as well as exactly solving free vibrations of plates and shells, which are the two main issues concerned in plate and shell dynamics. Many new exact solutions for free vibrations of plates and shells are solved and a few breakthroughs have been made.

I have also proposed a numerical method called the differential quadrature finite element method and engaged in researches in multi-physics coupling, nonlinear mechanics, soft active materials, Nano mechanics, piezoelectricity, etc.

The scholarships I got when I was a graduate student were the highest in the classes.

My BS, MS and PhD are all earned from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (or Beihang University), the most famous university of aeronautics and astronautics in China and one of the most famous universities in China.

I have 12 publications in international journals, two more papers are under reviewing, and another two are preparing for submission.

Presently, I am engaged in a two-year postdoc fellowship in BUAA and this job will end in the next March.
